Thoughts: As Good As It Gets

For starters, I'm not a big horror fan. Most of them have ridiculous concepts and are cheaply made. That's not the case with It. 

The new iteration of Stephen King's classic story is quite the masterpiece. The clown is scary and the overarching themes of growing up and facing your fears are prevalent. It is a horror movie that will hopefully reinvigorate the genre showing you can make a quality horror film without the need for cheap jump scares. It is helped by the use of a great story to begin with and is elevated by great casting and performances. 

All that said, there's little to criticize about this film. This film is well paced and I expect to see it on several Top 10 lists at the end of the year. You owe it to yourself to see this quality horror film.
