Based on real events, Molly's Game is the directorial debut of Aaron Sorkin and stars Jessica Chastain as the titular Molly and Idris Elba as her stubborn lawyer. Molly's Game is a fun, fast-paced thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat through every scene.

Jessica Chastain is a force throughout this film as Molly, who has more going for her the more the story unfolds. She perfectly takes the words from Aaron Sorkin and elevates the film with her powerful presence and mannerisms that makes you know she is always in control. Very few times does she let her guard down which such a power move that Aaron Sorkin exploits at the proper time. Very few women in Hollywood could pull off that kind of role with the poise that she brings to the table.

Idris Elba can also hold his own in each scene he battles against Jessica Chastain. He is very much in his element as a power lawyer set on finding the truth and defending his client at the same time. Speaking of lawyers, Aaron Sorkin loves his courtroom drama as this is no exception of the wonderfully crafted use of exposition and moving the plot. He is a master of writing these kinds of dramas and has learned quite a thing or two from other directors who have taken on his works.

Molly's Game is a fun time at the theaters and an interesting thriller which keeps you interested until the end. Jessica Chastain and Idris Elba drive this film from beginning to end and even with Kevin Costner, has a stellar performance as the dad. Go see Aaron Sorkins film and watch a masterfully crafted film unfold before your eyes.
